Indoor & Outdoor Display Network at Live! Casino & Hotel

SNA Displays built an LED spectacular for the exterior façade of Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland, as well as a five-screen display network for the resort's multipurpose events venue, THE HALL at Live!

SNA Displays manufactured and installed the LED display technology for the venue’s managing partner, The Cordish Companies, a real estate development and entertainment operating company headquartered in Baltimore.

North Elevation

SNA Displays retrofitted an outdated façade display along Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland's north elevation with an LED spectacular. For the project, SNA Displays removed the original LED screen and replaced it with a video display system that combines 16 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior video and ACCENT™ LED strips.

The main face of the façade-mounted exterior video display is approximately 18 feet tall and 134 feet long (345 x 2,560 pixels). It is primarily used to highlight events and services within the property.

In addition to manufacturing and installing the main LED video display, SNA Displays custom-designed a series of 160-milimeter-wide LED sticks for the accent video elements at the corner of the façade and redesigned display cladding to provide a proper fit around the LED sticks. The 11 custom ACCENT™ LED strips replaced simple strip lighting with full-matrix video display technology.

The 160-mm wide ACCENT™ strips are self-contained units that allow for full video content and pixel-perfect control. They can be used as stand-alone visuals or as accent pieces to enhance other display product lines.

The Hall at Live!

For the destination entertainment venue, SNA Displays provided three large-format LED screens and an LED ribbon display in The HALL’s main events room and another large-format display in the venue’s lobby. All of the LED screens are made from SNA Displays' BOLD™ Interior LED video product.

The 2.5 mm lobby video wall is 7'5" tall by 13'1" wide (900 x 1,600 pixels), processing more than 1.4 million pixels.

The HALL at Live!’s feature display, the main room’s center screen, is 16 feet high by 56 feet wide (1,680 x 5,880 pixels). It employs a 2.9 mm pixel pitch and processes 9.9 million pixels. The main hall's center screen is flanked by two smaller screens, both 23'7" tall x 21' wide (2,560 x 2,880 pixels) with 2.5 mm pixel pitches.

The main hall also has an LED ribbon display that runs around the third-floor balcony. It is 170' long by 3'6" feet wide and uses a 6 mm pixel pitch.

In total, the venue showcases approximately 2,600 square feet of LED video canvas and nearly 28 million pixels.
