Rivers Casino Pittsburgh

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh modernized its building façade by replacing outdated signage with a large-format EMPIRE™ Exterior LED screen from SNA Displays. The digital screen employs a 12 mm pixel pitch and is used primarily for on-premises messaging. Located in Pittsburgh’s Northshore region just north of where the Ohio River forks, Rivers Casino offers 24-hour gaming, hotel lodgings, dining, live entertainment, and conference space.

The 17'4" x 36'7" LED display wraps the corner at 90 degrees and is inset into the casino's multi-level parking structure façade just under the "Rivers Casino" branding so that it is flush with the surrounding frontage. SNA Displays custom-engineered and fabricated the digital screen to match the existing infrastructure as detailed drawings of the previous display were unavailable.

With a resolution of 440 pixels high by 930 pixels wide, the screen processes more than 400,000 total pixels. Las Vegas and Scottsdale consulting and design solutions firm Coherent Design guided the technological upgrade while Piros Signs provided installation services.
