The Americana at Brand Entertainment Destination Venue
Caruso, one of the largest privately held real estate development and hospitality companies in the United States, selected SNA Displays to manufacture and supply two EMPIRE™ Exterior LED screens for its entertainment destination venue in Glendale, California: The Americana at Brand. A sister lifestyle center to The Grove, also developed and managed by Caruso, The Americana at Brand is a large shopping, dining, entertainment, and residential complex whose architecture reflects the brick factory facades of the industrial era, as represented by the property’s weathered-steel aesthetic.
Owner-representative Consumer Experience Group (CEG), a national consultancy for experiential display projects, oversaw the display technology specification and procurement process.
AMC The Americana at Brand 18
SNA Displays upgraded the cinema marquee for The Americana at Brand’s AMC 18 theater. The curved LED video marquee features a 3.9 mm pixel pitch and measures approximately 77’ long x 5’ tall (6,010 x 320 pixels). The display protrudes above the cinema’s entrance to create a large awning with 7-foot wings on either side of the curved portion that are mounted flush against the building’s façade.
Elevator Tower
Mounted to a rustic, steel-framed elevator tower between H&M and the Apple Store, catty-corner to the property’s fountain, the 6.6 mm elevator tower display combines industrial aesthetic with high-end LED video. At 21'3" tall by 28'4" wide (972 x 1,296 pixels), the 1.3-million-pixel screen is used primarily for digital-out-of-home (DOOH) advertising.
SNA Displays partnered with AD/S to design the sign’s steel support structure and cladding elements. OUTFRONT Media, one of the largest outdoor media companies in the US, operates and schedules content for The Americana elevator tower.
