Queen City Quarter
SNA Displays retrofitted several large-format digital displays in the Queen City Quarter area of downtown Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly known as the EpiCentre. Queen City Quarter is a mixed-use entertainment, dining, and retail center whose previous LED displays were supplied by SNA Displays in 2013. The digital signage upgrade was part of an overall revitalization and improvement effort by property owners CBRE.
Orange Barrel Media (OBM), a leader in unique outdoor media, operates the retrofitted digital signage network, selecting SNA Displays to manufacture and supply 1,950 square feet of 8 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED video technology. The screens are primarily used for digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising.

Curved LED Rooftop Display
The Queen City Quarter renovation included removing a 10 mm LED ticker display and replacing rooftop static ad signage with a 41-foot, curved LED video screen. Located at the north entrance to Queen City Quarter on the corner of East Trade and South College streets, the curved rooftop display measures approximately 20 feet tall and 41 feet long (750 x 1,560 pixels). It has a 24-foot radius.
LED Blade Signs
Twin vertically oriented LED blade signs flank the curved rooftop display, each measuring 24'5" tall by 12'7" wide (930 x 480). The pair of 8 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED displays replaced 10 mm screens originally provided by SNA Displays in 2013. The updated DOOH platforms are approximately 6 feet taller and significantly lower profile than the previous video screens.
Three-Sided Mixed Media Sign
SNA Displays also upgraded a three-sided display system that wraps the corner of S. College and 4th streets, replacing 16 mm outdoor display product with 8 mm LED video technology. The three-sided sign comprises two digital display faces and a static face. Each digital face measures 22'10" x 11'7" (870 x 440).
