Penn Station 32nd & 7th Entrance LED Video Screen
SNA Displays manufactured and installed a 37-foot LED video screen as part of major renovations to New York’s Penn Station by Amtrak and Vornado Realty Trust. The upgraded digital advertising and wayfinding platform comes from SNA Displays’ BRILLIANT™ Interior line of LED video technology. As part of the revitalization project, Amtrak also widened the station’s entrance with new escalators and installed an ADA-compliant elevator, a new glass canopy, and exterior signage.
The 6'8" x 36'8" bulkhead LED display is located at the bottom of a set of escalators in the busy train station at 32nd St and 7th Ave, which is adjacent to Madison Square Garden. The display features a tight 1.5 mm pixel pitch at a resolution of 1,296 x 7,168 pixels.
Forte Construction Group provided general contractor services and Digital Dreams provided installation services.
