Jeffrey Field

Home to the Nittany Lions men’s and women’s soccer teams, Jeffrey Field is located in the heart of the PSU athletics complex. The facility hold 5,000 fans and has a view of nearby Mount Nittany. Penn State hired SNA Displays to manufacture a new dvLED scoreboard to replace an outdated system.

The Jeffrey Field LED videoboard is built with 10 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED display technology. The 15' x 26' video scoreboard has a resolution of 456 pixels high by 800 pixels wide and processes approximately 365,000 total pixels. Eastern Sign Tech provided installation services.

Pegula Ice Arena

SNA Displays upgraded the lobby video wall at Pegula Ice Arena, home to PSU’s men's and women's ice hockey teams. The retrofit involved replacing the existing 4 x 3 LCD display and control gear and installing a 4 mm BOLD™ Interior LED screen and content management system.

The arena’s dvLED screen is 6'6" tall by 16'6" wide (495 pixels x 1,260 pixels) and is mounted to a wall on the main concourse level.

McCrossin installed the LED display and updated the existing infrastructure, including steel support angles and new power and data runs.

Beard Field

SNA Displays manufactured an LED scoreboard for Beard Field within the Nittany Lion Softball Park.

The softball field’s 15' x 26' LED scoreboard is made from SNA Displays’ 10 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED display technology. With a resolution of 456 pixels high by 800 pixels wide, the digital display processes approximately 365,000 total pixels. Eastern Sign Tech provided installation services.

Lasch Field

Penn State’s renovation continued with upgrades to Lasch Field under general contractor Mortenson. Lasch Field serves as an outdoor practice facility for the Nittany Lion’s football team.

The Lasch Field videoboard is made from SNA Displays’ 10 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED technology. The 15' x 27' dvLED scoreboard processes nearly 380,000 pixels at a resolution of 456 x 832 pixels. American Signcrafters provided installation services.

Holuba Hall

Holuba Hall serves as a practice and competition facility for the Nittany Lion’s football program and other PSU teams. Featuring two parallel 80-yard practice fields, the 118,000-square-foot facility has a field turf surface used for indoor golf, softball practice, lacrosse competitions, soccer workouts, and more.

The Holuba Hall LED screen is made from SNA Displays’ BOLD™ Interior LED display technology. The 14'9" x 26'9" (750 x 1,360 pixels) dvLED video wall features a 6-milimeter pixel pitch and processes more than 1 million total pixels.

American Signcrafters provided installation services.

Anthony James Partners provided consultation services on behalf of Penn State for all projects.
