LED Screen from SNA Displays Lights Up Millennium Place
Millennium Place, a luxury residential building situated along the historic commercial spine of Boston’s Washington Street, is home to a new Empire™ outdoor LED screen from SNA Displays. The digital sign is cantilevered just above the entrance to the Chinatown T stop at the northwest corner of Boylston Street and Washington Street.
In addition to manufacturing the digital screen, SNA Displays installed the primary steel and electrical work for the display. SNA Displays partnered with Sunrise Erectors for the intricate, custom-built Alucobond cladding details that wrap around the sign to match the building’s façade. Back Bay Signs, one of New England’s oldest sign manufacturing and installation companies, installed the display for Orange Barrel Media, a leader in unique outdoor media.
The LED video display is 16'6" high by 30'5" wide and uses a 10 mm pixel pitch with a resolution of 504 by 928 pixels.
