Melrose Lights Curved LED Displays
Developer and management firm Alta Vista Holdings selected SNA Displays to provide curved EMPIRE™ Exterior LED displays at two of its properties on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Known as Melrose Lights, the pair of digital-out-of-home platforms are operated by the Los Angeles-based OOH media sales and development company Kevani. Melrose Avenue is a hub for shopping, art, and nightlife and located near Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
Employing a 6.6 mm pixel pitch, the DOOH display at 7250 Melrose Ave – Melrose Lights East – sits atop the facade of a retail and entertainment center at the corner of Melrose and Alta Vista Blvd. The façade-mounted display measures 15'9" x 36'9" (720 x 1,680 pixels) and is curved with a radius of 28 feet to match the architecture of the multi-tenant building. It processes approximately 1.2 million pixels. YESCO provided installation services.
Less than one mile away at 7975 Melrose Ave, Melrose Lights West also boasts a tight pixel pitch of 6.6 mm. Viewable from both Melrose Ave and Edinburgh Ave, the curved display is slightly smaller at 11’10” x 33’7 (540 x 1,536 pixels). It sits above the entrance to American luxury eyewear store Moscot and processes more than 829,000 pixels. CS Signs provided LED installation services.
