Lamar University Montagne Center

SNA Displays upgraded Lamar University’s basketball arena with a 4 mm BOLD™ Interior LED centerhung display system and two 3.9 mm BOLD™ Interior XR staging displays . The Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center is an 11,000-seat multipurpose facility and home to the university’s NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball programs.

LED Center Hung

The centerhung is composed of four slightly curved LED screens tilted downward to provide optimal line of sight for stadium attendees. Two of the display faces are 8'10" x 17'9" (675 x 1,352 pixels) while the other two are 8'10" x 13'5" (675 x 1,020 pixels).

Owner's representative and technology consultant Anthony James Partners (AJP) provided comprehensive design, procurement, and construction administration services, supporting Lamar University in selecting SNA Displays to manufacture and supply the centerhung display system.

Staging Displays

After completion of the LED centerhung, SNA Displays was also asked to provide a pair of 3.9 mm BOLD™ Interior XR stage displays. The duo can be floor-mounted or hung from steel trusses, allowing staff to raise, lower, move around, and rebuild the displays to accommodate various events. They are used for Lamar graduation ceremonies, local high school graduations, movie nights, and other special events.
