E Walk 42nd Street LED Spectacular
SNA Displays and BIG Outdoor collaborated to create a dual-faced wedge display, expanding the media company’s digital-out-of-home (DOOH) presence on the E Walk retail stretch of W 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Ave in Times Square. The LED spectacular employs an 8 mm pixel pitch from SNA Displays’ EMPIRE™ Exterior line of outdoor LED video technology. BIG Outdoor owns and operates the digital asset, managing all media sales and content scheduling.
Measuring 69’3” wide x 39’4” tall (2,640 x 1,500 pixels), the DOOH platform faces 42nd St. and is surrounded by other SNA Displays installations including the LED spectaculars at Target Times Square, E-Walk Retail, and 661 8th Ave. The sides of the 42nd street large-format video screen come to a point that protrudes slightly from the building’s façade over the Dallas BBQ restaurant, giving it extended read times for auto and pedestrian traffic at one of Manhattan’s busiest thoroughfares. It processes just under 4 million pixels across more than 2,700 square feet of digital canvas.
