Bryant Park Digital
SNA Displays partnered with premier out-of-home media company Branded Cities to upgrade a prominent advertising video platform near New York City’s Bryant Park with 10 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior video technology. The platform, known as the “Bryant Park Digital,” is located in Midtown Manhattan on 42nd Street half a block west of the park. The LED spectacular is a major focal point of the busy commuter corridor that links Grand Central and Times Square, garnering an estimated 3 million impressions each week.
The digital display system, which replaced outdated technology, is cantilevered to the façade of the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square Central. It measures 75'7" long and 27'7" tall (2,304 x 840 pixels), consisting of a 56-foot main screen parallel to 42nd with angled returns on either side for extended reach to auto and pedestrian traffic. SNA Displays custom-engineered LED cabinets for the project to achieve 1/16" corner gaps, a much more seamless canvas than the prior design.
For content management, the screen uses an Analog Way Pulse 4K multi-layer video mixer and seamless presentation switcher.
North Shore Neon provided LED installation services.
