Bulletin Building
SNA Displays recently manufactured a direct-view LED ticker display as part of a project to resurrect an old newspaper shop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Bulletin Building. For more details about the building’s history and the wider re-purposing project, check out this article.
The Bulletin Building is between Drexel Square and the Powelton train yard. It is the flagship for Schuylkill Yards, a community development project that will host retail space, offices, restaurants, and event venues.
The 256-foot-long LED display, one of SNA Displays’ EMPIRE™ exterior products, uses a 10.0 mm pixel pitch at a resolution of 7,808 pixels wide by 72 pixels high. This gives the display a total of 562,176 pixels.
SNA Displays worked with installer Custom Finishers and construction firm Hunter Roberts on behalf of Brandywine Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust (REIT) that invests in office buildings in Philadelphia, Austin, and Washington, D.C.
