Corner-Wrap LED Spectacular Overlooking Midtown Manhattan's Theater District

SNA Displays partnered with out-of-home media giant Clear Channel Outdoor to upgrade the advertising platform at 750 Seventh Avenue in Times Square using 10 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED display technology. 750 Seventh Avenue is a 600,000-square-foot, 36-story multi-tenant office building with retail on the ground level.

The two giant screens of the LED spectacular meet at 90 degrees and overlook the intersection of 50th and Broadway on the north side of the Times Square bowtie. Both faces of the corner-wrap display system are 45'8" tall and 31' wide, generating more than 2,800 square feet of digital-out-of-home advertising canvas. With a resolution of 1,392 x 1,888 pixels, the dual-screen setup makes the display ideal for 3D and anamorphic content.

Clear Channel Outdoor, one of the world’s largest outdoor advertising companies, managed the project including installation services and serves as the media management company for the digital billboard.

cLarge-format LED displays are commonly known as "spectaculars." These digital displays take on many forms, varying in size and capability.

LED mega-spectaculars are even larger, as the size and scope of these behemoths go beyond the traditional spectacular display. SNA Displays has manufactured and installed many of the industry’s high-profile LED mega-spectaculars, which are predominant in entertainment venues and areas with high levels of pedestrian traffic like Midtown Manhattan, the Las Vegas strip, Dallas, and downtown Los Angeles.
