SNA Displays Builds Dual-Faced LED Display for Downtown Dallas
SNA Displays manufactured a double-sided EMPIRE™ Exterior LED display at 1511 Elm Street in downtown Dallas. Located in the Main Street District between Thanks-Giving Square and the iconic Giant Eyeball public art exhibit, the new digital sign faces east/west along Elm Street and is mounted to a concrete-façade parking garage approximately 20 feet above street level.
Out-of-home (OOH) media company BIG Outdoor owns and operates the digital asset, managing all media sales and content scheduling for this display and others in their downtown Dallas digital signage network.
The inverted 16x9 displays employ a 6.67 mm pixel pitch, and each face has resolution of 720 pixels high by 384 pixels wide, giving the asset just over half a million total pixels.
Dallas-based Elevated Systems provided installation services.
Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) Advertising
LED screens have become an indispensable way to deliver advertisements, messaging, and entertainment to travelers in public spaces, and media companies are taking full advantage of the latest in digital display technology to stimulate the imagination, promote curiosity, and help brands engage with existing or potential customers.
It’s no wonder that DOOH advertising is a vital part of many marketing strategies. Investing in cutting-edge video display technology now means having a customizable, changeable content platform for years to come.
