Upscale Hollywood Apartment Complex Adds Digital Art Platform

LOS ANGELES—The Rise Hollywood, a luxury apartment community in the heart of Hollywood, complemented its unique architecture with a trapezoidal digital art canvas from SNA Displays. The distinctive video screen, built with EMPIRE™ Exterior LED video display technology, is located outside the complex’s parking garage.

SNA Displays manufactured and installed the LED video wall, which features 6.67 mm pixel spacing. The display is 6’3″ by 60’11” along its longest edge and has a resolution of 288 pixels high by 2,784 pixels wide.

Rise Hollywood commissioned motion graphics and animation studio leftchannel to create artistic content for the digital display.

“SNA Displays and leftchannel did a great job designing our digital art piece,” said Jimmy Hancock, executive vice president for Encore Capital Management, a real estate development and capital management firm. “It’s such a unique feature for the property. The feedback has been great. Residents and guests are really enjoying it.”
