BARCELONA—The LED mega-spectacular known as The Ultimate Display at American Dream won the Digital Signage Award for Innovative and Impactful Digital Out-of-Home Advertising. The awards ceremony took place last night, kicking off Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) week in Barcelona.
The Ultimate Display features a tapered design that wraps the exterior façade of American Dream’s Nickelodeon Universe® theme park in a half circle that extends 556 feet, or nearly two football fields long. It’s part of a multi-year scope of digital display enhancements by SNA Displays at the massive destination entertainment and shopping venue. Made from SNA Displays’ EMPIRE™ Exterior LED video technology, the display boasts more than 180 degrees of visibility and multiple sightlines from one of the busiest interchanges in North America. At 45 feet tall along its tallest edge, The Ultimate Display employs a 12-millimeter pixel pitch and processes approximately 10.8 million pixels.
Jason Helton, executive vice president at SNA Displays, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
