DALLAS, TX—SNA Displays manufactured a pair of LED blade signs for the Crowne Plaza Hotel as part of a growing network of double-sided digital displays in downtown Dallas. One sign is on Elm Street facing east-west; the other sign is on Griffin Street and faces north-south.
Both dual-faced digital out-of-home (OOH) LED screens come from SNA Displays’ EMPIRE™ line of exterior LED products. Elevated at 20 feet above street level, each LED sign face is approximately 16 feet high and 9 feet wide. They use a 6.67 mm pixel pitch and have a resolution of 720 pixels high by 384 pixels wide, which gives them a total of 1.1 million pixels and 530 square feet of digital advertising space.
“SNA Displays billboards and LEDs are becoming more prominent in the downtown Dallas area,” said Mikell Senger, project manager at SNA Displays. “Partnering with BIG Outdoor to build these dynamic, eye-catching LED displays has been a rewarding experience and I look forward to seeing the network continue to grow.”
Both displays use ~sedna content management systems as their software interface and run content developed in partnership with Dallas-based media company BIG Outdoor. SNA Displays also worked with sign installer Barnett Signs, based out of Mesquite, TX.
