Dave Haynes of Sixteen:Nine recentlysat down for a podcast with artist Refik Anadol at his studio in Los Angeles. If you’re not familiar with Anadol’s name, you’re likely familiar with his work. Anadol is the creative mind behind the stunning visuals seen at 350 Mission in San Francisco, as well as the synchronized visualizations displayed on the LED walls at the Charlotte Airport in North Carolina.
This style of digital art is Refik Anadol’s specialty, and he has dubbed it “ parametric data sculptures for public art spaces.”
Haynes speaks with Anadol about what inspires him to create these sculptures, and how he turns his dream-like art into a reality.
