West Coast “Pixels to Processing” Seminars a Resounding Success

I recently had the opportunity to co-host another educational seminar along with colleagues at Analog Way and RP Visual Solutions. Attendees had the option to join us at RP Visual’s Anaheim headquarters or at The Moxy in downtown Los Angeles, a nice setting given the SNA Displays-built LED mega-spectacular out front.

Attendees earned three Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credits and enjoyed fun, out-of-the-classroom social events. Those who attended the Anaheim session took part in a jet fighter simulation while the LA crew toured the GRAMMY Museum and LA LIVE.

I’m pleased to say that the events, titled From Pixels to Processing: Specifying a World-Class Display Solution, went very well. Over two days, we had many of the best consultants in Southern California in attendance.

We specifically organized this event to include informative and (I hope) interesting educational sessions, but some of the most enlightening highlights were the question-and-answer sessions that allowed attendees to ask about pretty much anything regarding LED displays, processing, and mounting solutions. This led to some rewarding discussion and creative in-person problem solving. Of course, the social time was also valuable as it allowed us to make – or strengthen – professional relationships.

It’s become clear to me from hosting events like this that folks in this corner of the AV industry understand the importance of never compromising on quality and integrity. This is a group of extremely talented professionals whose priority is creating the best possible version of whatever their clients can come up with. They understand that the only way for a new audio-video installation to carry real value is to make it great, make it right, and make it push the industry forward.

Down the road, we’ll look back at the times we got to participate in creative innovation, productive collaboration, and personal growth. This was largely the theme of Pixels to Processing. Not just practical training on tech hardware, but tangible and actionable inspiration for pursuing a better frame of mind for AV industry work.

Digital signage veteran Randy Pagnan was instrumental in facilitating Pixels to Processing and we thank him for his efforts. Thanks also to our friends at Analog Way and RP Visual Solutions for co-hosting and putting forth valuable training. We look forward to our next event in fall 2023.
