As part of the roll-out for Nike's innovative running shoe called the Nike Epic React, Jimmy Kimmel Live performed a competition of sorts on SNA Displays' newest interactive mega-spectacular LED display project in Los Angeles.
The - ahem - race featured Jimmy Kimmel's famed security guard, Guillermo, and LA Rams' all-pro running back Todd Gurley. The two selected avatars and then hopped on a treadmill as a crowd gathered to watch the competitors' efforts play out virtually on an 18,000-square-foot LED canvas, manufactured by SNA Displays and installed by Yesco.
The cutting-edge LED technology was installed earlier this year at Circa (1200 S. Figueroa) Los Angeles as part of the site's massive development.

Jimmy Kimmel Live became the first of many live events in front of the new LED video displays at Circa Los Angeles.
The 18,000-square-foot displays, featuring a 10 mm pixel pitch, displayed live video, a custom video game and stock footage during the event. The LED displays, located across from the STAPLES Center in downtown L.A., were manufactured by Sansi and installed by YESCO. Famed Jimmy Kimmel security guard and L.A. Rams running back Todd Gurley were on hand for the event.

The primary system is designed to reinforce the existing building slab edge while the secondary structural system is used for attaching our LED display sections to the building. (An alternative design was engineered to combine these systems into a single frame, but the dual structural frames were ultimately chosen for a slimmer profile, limiting the display's projection off the face of the building.)Read More
