Synthesizing Art, Technology, and Nature

In a recent cover story entitled Salesforce. Technology meets art, naturally, public art marketplace leader CODAworx dove into Salesforce’s use of nature-themed digital art throughout its offices around the world. For those of you who might be unfamiliar, CODAworx is a highly respected commissioned-art hub that matches creative talent with opportunities and provides digital tools that streamline the commissioning process.

Since 2015 with the installation of the first-of-its-kind “waterfall” lobby display at its 50 Fremont Street location in San Francisco, tech giant Salesforce really has been a trendsetter in the use of large-scale workplace digital signage. Some video experiences are showstoppers, others are subtly beautiful, others just mesmerizing.

In keeping with its Trailhead brand, Salesforce employs direct-view, large-format LED displays to celebrate the natural world in lobbies, common areas, conference rooms, and more. Using “video as architecture,” Salesforce has blazed a trail for digital signage in the workplace, honoring content creators and dynamic technology along the way.

From majestic forest scenes to virtual aquariums, miniature fantasy worlds, AI-driven biophilic content and much, much more, Salesforce has curated an impressive collection from digital artists like the world-renowned Refik Anadol, whose work in this Salesforce lobby broke the mold and seemed to ignite a digital art revolution in large-format video. These awe-inspiring art pieces create a serene atmosphere that conveys high-tech and oneness with nature in the same stroke. It’s hard to imagine such disparate concepts being juxtaposed against each other so well, but once you see it, you’ll believe it.

As an LED display manufacturer, we’ve long been a proud partner in adding elegance and dynamic style to Salesforce locations with direct-view, large-format LED displays and powerful systems architecture.

Over the past decade, this collaboration has resulted in hundreds of workplace displays in major cities spanning seven countries on four different continents. Stunning lobby video walls, digital art showcases, ultra-fine-pitch conference room signs, and large-format media walls for townhall spaces and other common areas have also energized and inspired the community of Salesforce employees and their clients.

As top companies increasingly recognize the value video adds when thinking about memorable spaces and experiences, large-format digital signage is becoming highly sought-after in the corporate environment. Salesforce has unmistakably been a trailblazer in this arena: By integrating state-of-the-art LED video into its skyscrapers across the globe, the software giant has created enviable consistency both in the high-quality display tech it employs and the revolutionary atmosphere it creates.

Helping realize the Salesforce vision has been a great pleasure for the entire SNA Displays team and our wonderful partners. From must-see video wall showcases to functional workplace screens, Salesforce has set an enviable example by tastefully combining large-format digital signage with beautiful art.
