SNA Displays’ Paul England to Present at Digital Signage Experience 2022

Paul England, director of design solutions at SNA Displays, will speak at the 2022 Digital Signage Experience (DSE), a three-day digital signage conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center in November. The session, entitled “DVLED: What You Need to Know,” will cover important design considerations regarding direct-view LED display installations. Paul will present alongside Brad Sagar, technologist for AVI-SPL’s Experience Technology Group (XTG).

Direct-view LEDs have risen in popularity for many reasons, including their seamless, bezel-free configurations for both indoor and outdoor applications. Furthermore, as the cost for dvLEDs comes down, it only stands to reason that their usage will continue to increase.

Paul and Brad will help attendees determine the pros and cons of various dvLED configurations and understand what pixel pitch to use for different applications. They will discuss recommended viewing distances, mounting options, and what components are necessary to make it all work. They will also share examples of dvLED installations for inspiration.

On the presentation…

At SNA Displays, we’re seeing a huge amount of interest in creating engaging experiences with the help of digital display technology, both indoor and outdoor. We’ve already been privileged to work with so many successful companies looking to enhance their workspaces and overall brand with immersive digital signage. More and more, designers and architects charged with revitalizing urban areas are looking to incorporate video and other LED technology. But LED display tech isn’t one of those Field of Dreams, “if you build it, they will come” kind of things. An engaging, memorable digital display experience requires careful planning, know-how, partnerships, and, of course, execution.

Steph Beckett, managing editor at rAVe [PUBS], sat down with Brad to get a sneak peak of the presentation:

I’m also thankful to see DSE back with renewed energy! The last few years have taken a toll on many things and many people, but it’s nice to see DSE fashioning their place in our industry again.

In addition to Paul and Brad’s presentation, DSE 2022 features a keynote address from industry leaders and influencers such as digital artist Refik Anadol, Consumer Experience Group principal Jeremy Kolieb, Sixteen:Nine editor Dave Haynes, Digital Signage Federation board member Paul Fleuranges, DPAA president and CEO Barry Frey, Orange Barrel Media founder and CEO Pete Scantland, and many more.

The centralized expo hall floor offers attendees the opportunity to source and see digital signage installations and meet hundreds of manufacturers, integrators, and technology providers. The three-day conference program features top industry experts, in-depth sessions, and off-site tours, making it an important educational experience.

Likewise, DSE 2022 includes numerous networking events such as the opening party, awards reception, lunches, and the legendary Sixteen:Nine DSE Mixer, sponsored by SNA Displays.
