Dreams Live Digitally Scholarship Sends Art Students to CODAworx Summit in San Jose

As part of an ongoing commitment to supporting growing artists, SNA Displays provides scholarships to several students to attend the annual CODAsummit, organized by CODAworx to explore the intersection of art, technology, and place. Through the Dreams Live Digitally Scholarship program, five students were provided the opportunity to attend this year’s CODAsummit, which has become a yearly highlight for many creative professionals.

The 2023 CODAworx Summit was held at the Hammer Theatre Center in San Jose, California.

“Thank you to SNA Displays for playing such a key role in CODAsummit, and for embracing this exciting ecosystem.  We love partnering with such a key company to our community.  I look forward to extending the memories and our friendships for a long time to come.” — Toni Sikes, CEO of CODAworx

CODAworx and the CODASummit

CODAworx helps establish relationships within the artistic community, both between artists and between people seeking commissioned art pieces. Part of this collaborative mission is the CODAsummit, a community-focused networking opportunity for creative professionals from a wide swath of artistic disciplines.

The two-and-a-half-day conference offers opportunities for professional development, creative inspiration, and personal connections.  Activities this year included keynote speeches, artistic showcases, panel discussions, networking events, tours of local San Jose public art pieces, and industry presentations from companies that collaborate with artists to create successful artwork installations.

Attendees remarked on the sense of community that CODAsummit fosters. Connections between attendees, speakers, and sponsors are not just encouraged, they’re celebrated. Through such a conducive atmosphere, passionate individuals can meet others who share their interests and forge invaluable networks.

SNA Displays’ Sponsorship

SNA Displays has long partnered with CODAworx to invest in future generations of artists through the Dreams Live Digitally Scholarship program. Such sponsorships have allowed selected art students to attend CODAsummit, make professional connections, and take a major step in their artistic careers. Scholarships are open to students of all disciplines, not just those who use the digital canvas in their artwork.

“I was grateful to attend CODASummit this year, to be surrounded by such a community of artists, curators, and partner,” said Pat Green, vice president of systems at SNA Displays. “The sessions were thought provoking and moving. I’m proud to be part of SNA Displays who has a long history of supporting scholarship awards to the next generation of artists coming into their own. I look forward to seeing all of my new friends and colleagues at the next summit!”
