“Build Big” Scholarships Allow Art Students to Attend Arts & Technology Summit

SNA Displays’ Build Big Scholarship program is a collaboration with CODAworx, a community-focused organization that connects artists with commissioned art projects, to provide conference admission and a travel stipend to students from various art disciplines to attend the annual CODAsummit. This year, we sent four students to Washington, DC, to soak up knowledge in an international city filled with museums and monuments while meeting key players in the public arts industry.

The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities hosted CODAsummit 2025 at the state-of-the-art Arena Stage at the Mead Center. The three-day event included keynotes and panel discussions by internationally recognized artists, innovators, commissioners, and thought-leaders in the art, design, and tech worlds. It also featured in-person networking opportunities for artists across a wide range of disciplines.

One of the keynote speakers was Ferdi Alıcı, who was the subject of the first of the SNA Displays-sponsored CODAzine Interviews series.

Paul England, senior director of design solutions, spoke to attendees at the summit’s opening reception and presented the scholarship winners.
