For those who find themselves at the intersection of art, technology, and place, CODAsummit has become an essential gathering. As both well-established artists and up-and-comers gather to grow and make connections, attendees, including sponsors like SNA Displays, are enriched after participating.

The 2022 CODAworx Summit was held in Denver, Colorado. The topic this year was “Creative Revolution.”

About CODAworx

CODAworx connects artists and other creatives with professionals seeking commissioned artwork. Part of this collaborative mission is the CODAsummit, a community-focused networking opportunity for creative professionals designed to foster learning, inspiration, and personal relationships.

About the Summit

CODAsummit focuses on the exciting ways creative professionals employ art and technology to change the way we experience our environments. The event includes both theoretical and practical information, drawing from internationally renowned artists, technologists, and thought leaders in the art and design worlds. The conference’s highlights include:

  • Keynote speeches on themes of interactivity, data visualization, and sensory experiences
  • Presentations given by technology and industry, alongside their artist/design collaborators
  • Artist showcases that demonstrate how artists leverage the latest technologies
  • Case studies and a Commissioners’ Track for public art agencies, architects, art consultants, and developers

CODAworx + SNA Displays

As a leading manufacturer of LED display technology, SNA Displays is delighted to partner with CODAworx to invest in future generations of artists through the Dreams Live Digitally Scholarship program. These scholarships allow selected art students, some who will undoubtedly use LED display technology – the digital canvas – to create and present their art, to attend CODAsummit, and to take a valuable step in their careers.

The CODAsummit helped me to understand applications of public-facing design and the works’ relationship to the communities in which they exist. Experiencing the professional and personal relationships built between artists, fabricators and commissioners to create the hyper-real was wonderful and I look forward to maintaining these connections into my professional career. – Mica Lynn Barrett, rising Senior at Scripps College, Digital Media Studies & History
