Auction house floor LED screens

CoStar Group – Irvine, CA

SNA Displays provided a suite of direct-view, ultra-fine-pitch LED video displays to CoStar Group’s Irvine location. CoStar Group is a leader in online commercial and residential real estate marketplaces. The location’s new high-end digital display technology serves as a cutting-edge digital platform for CoStar to conduct online real estate auctions and negotiated bids in addition to greeting guests and staff in style. All screens come from SNA Displays’ BRILLIANT™ Interior line of LED video display technology. Combined, the CoStar Irvine LED display systems process a whopping 58 million pixels.

The lobby display system, an array of small, vertically oriented screens mounted to sleek wood paneling, is eye-catching, meant to inspire viewers and set the tone for cutting edge technology throughout the space. Inside the auction house floor, however, the displays are both attractive and highly functional.

The immersive screens on the auction house floor were designed to enhance the workplace experience as staff can visualize a wealth of information at one time or focus on the most relevant aspect of output.

DIGITAL-OUT-OF-HOME (DOOH)

SNA-MoxyAC Hotel DTLA-Gallery-9

The Moxy – Los Angeles, CA

The Moxy and AC Hotel in downtown LA features a massive DOOH video display manufactured by SNA Displays and installed in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Known as “The Moxy,” one the largest continuous exterior LED video walls on the United States’ West Coast is located at the intersection of S Figueroa St. and W Pico Blvd across from the LA Convention Center, L.A. LIVE, and Crypto.com Arena.

The LED mega-spectacular is a 15,000-square-foot video façade built from SNA Displays’ 8 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior line of LED display technology and boasts a resolution of 1,890 x 11,480 pixels. Roughly 50-foot-tall, the screen extends along S Figueroa for about the length of a football field before it wraps the corner of a multilevel parking structure at W Pico.

Consumer Experience Group (CEG), a Los Angeles-based consultancy for experiential display projects, managed the large development’s digital and static signage elements on behalf of property owner Lightstone. CEG conducted detailed and separate requests-for-proposal processes for both technology and media to identify the best possible partners for the project on behalf of ownership.

Premier out-of-home media company Branded Cities owns exclusive rights to market and sell premium advertising on the curved video screen. YESCO fabricated and installed more than 225,000 pounds of structural steel for the LED mega-spectacular in addition to a sizeable static signage scope for the project.

EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN & PLANNING

Okta Broadway

Okta Experience Center – New York, NY

Digital identity and secure access company Okta unveiled a highly immersive, public-facing customer experience center for its New York City location in Manhattan’s Flatiron District on Broadway. For the digital experience center, designed and produced by HUSH, SNA Displays teamed up with audio-video technology specialist Electrosonic to provide digital display assets including more than 200 ACCENT™ LED sticks. The 10 mm LED sticks, an architectural lighting extension of SNA Displays’ THRUMEDIA® line, were mounted vertically and integrated into sleek wood paneling, designed in a way to guide visitors through an immersive experience and inspire them to explore Okta’s services. The LED sticks are spaced several inches apart, offering opportunities for both dynamic lighting and messaging. In addition to the storefront experience inside, the thoughtful design offers wide views to outside traffic through a floor-to-ceiling glass facade.

“People are saying thank you for creating a space where it’s a destination, a retreat. It’s not a typical office space, and instead we are showing the public where the magic actually happens.”  – Assal Yavari, Vice President of Global Workplace and Safety, Okta

SNA-Boeing Center at Tech Port-Gallery-8

Boeing Center at Tech Port – San Antonio, TX

Boeing Center at Tech Port is a state-of-the art technology and entertainment venue in San Antonio, Texas. SNA Displays was selected to provide an extensive indoor and outdoor LED video signage network for the multipurpose center.

The main hub of the 180,000-square-foot facility is a reconfigurable 3,100-seat arena and gaming hall that hosts concerts, conferences, esports tournaments, robotics competitions, and other live-entertainment events. The Boeing Center at Tech Port’s main hall required a digital signage solution versatile enough to accommodate the wide variety of events. Therefore, SNA Displays provided a trio of 3.9 mm BOLD™ Interior truss-mounted LED screens.

Other key digital signage throughout the new venue includes several extremely tight-pitch outdoor LED displays, a pair of oversized, double-sided LED kiosks just outside the venue, a box office LED display, and several large-format LED displays that wrap around the venue’s façade.

All digital signage elements serve to reinforce Boeing Center at Tech Port’s focus on technology as an educational tool, entertainment platform, and digital content showcase. The LED display network electrifies audiences, conveys important messaging, and creates visual focal points in crowded live events.
