A Look at SNA Displays’ 2024 Digital Signage Awards Finalists

Once again, judges for the  Digital Signage Awards have selected multiple projects featuring SNA Displays LED video technology as finalists in its international competition for excellence and innovation in the digital signage industry.

As a reminder, SNA Displays was a huge winner at last year’s DSA competition, taking home the top prize in the digital out-of-home category and a couple high commendations.

This year, we’re competing against 50 or so organizations from around the world. Needless to say, it’s an honor to be recognized, and we’re wishing all digital signage partners, competitors, and clients good luck for the 2024 DSAs.

Projects chosen as finalists are:

The winners will be announced during Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) week in Barcelona on January 29, 2024.

Here’s more information on each of the entries recognized this year.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Headquarters – SPRING, TX

Hewlett Packard Enterprise(HPE) gave its Houston-based global headquarters a custom-designed digital signage makeover. The big addition in 2023 was a massive 3,600-sq-ft LED spectacular overlooking the HPE campus. The huge LED screen nicely complements an array of interior digital signage for the computer technology giant (a DSA finalist last year).

Technology integration company i.e. Smart Systems oversaw all aspects of the project.

HPE’s new digital signage network provides WOW-factor visuals, immersive and interactive experiences, artistic and inspirational pieces, and branded content.

“Everything there is an experience. The entire space is meant to create a sizzle, but not just for sizzle’s sake. The design reflects HPE’s brand equity. It gives back to the customers and clients by providing them with the experience they expect from a technological giant.”  —Jason DeMille, Executive Vice President, i.e. Smart Systems

Digital identity and secure access company Okta unveiled a highly immersive, public-facing Customer Experience Center designed by HUSH for its New York City location. More than 200 ACCENT™ LED sticks were mounted vertically and integrated into sleek wood paneling, designed in a way to guide visitors through an immersive experience and inspire them to explore Okta’s online services. The LED sticks are spaced several inches apart, offering opportunities for both dynamic lighting and messaging. In addition to the storefront experience inside, the thoughtful design offers wide views to outside traffic through a floor-to-ceiling glass façade.

“People are saying thank you for creating a space where it’s a destination, a retreat. It’s not a typical office space, and instead we are showing the public where the magic actually happens.”  – Assal Yavari, Vice President of Global Workplace and Safety, Okta

The full display system includes several integrated display assets spanning from the huge wrap-around LED Main Display just above 7th Ave to the LED Crown, perhaps the highest rooftop LED display in New York.

The massive undertaking also included the TSX Stage Marquee, an LED Theater Marquee at the entrance to the famed Palace Theater, LED Stage Doors, and a large-format Midlevel Display halfway up the building façade. All displays feature SNA Displays’ EMPIRE™ Exterior line of outdoor LED display technology.

In early 2023, TSX Broadway’s main screen was used to host the first-ever live Times Square watch party for the National Football League’s Big Game.

In July 2023, Post Malone shocked visitors in Times Square with a pop-up concert.

“We are thrilled to unveil the TSX stage with an exceptional artist like Post Malone,” TSX Entertainment co-CEO Nick Holmstén stated. “This iconic moment not only marks the beginning of a new era for live performance in Times Square but also showcases our commitment to providing unique and unforgettable experiences for fans around the world.”

In September 2023, New York Mayor Eric Adams presented world-famous musical artist and producer Sean “P-Diddy” Combs with the keys to the city on the TSX Stage.
