SNA Displays recently commissioned six LED displays for the amazing Brookfield Place mall in downtown New York City, right next to the World Trade Center memorial. The new interior screens are a mix of 2 mm and 6 mm product. However, this display technology is built with outdoor diodes due to the amount of ambient light that reaches the atrium through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Additionally, remote power supplies were installed for the plaza columns for a clean, near-flush mount.
With more than 400 engineers, Sansi specializes in custom-design aspects like those of at Brookfield Place.Read More
Retailers face numerous challenges in the 21st century, notably competing with ecommerce giants like Amazon and others. Consumers have many options available with a click of a mouse. Even when competing with other traditional brick-and-mortar retailers, the fight for “wallet share” has never been so intense. How can retailers stand out from the crowd and create experiences to drive customers to their physical stores? Digital signage has clear benefits in crafting these experiences, with targeted messaging and high-quality content, yielding exciting new retail opportunities.Read More
As part of the roll-out for Nike's innovative running shoe called the Nike Epic React, Jimmy Kimmel Live performed a competition of sorts on SNA Displays' newest interactive mega-spectacular LED display project in Los Angeles.
The - ahem - race featured Jimmy Kimmel's famed security guard, Guillermo, and LA Rams' all-pro running back Todd Gurley. The two selected avatars and then hopped on a treadmill as a crowd gathered to watch the competitors' efforts play out virtually on an 18,000-square-foot LED canvas, manufactured by SNA Displays and installed by Yesco.
The cutting-edge LED technology was installed earlier this year at Circa (1200 S. Figueroa) Los Angeles as part of the site's massive development.

Jimmy Kimmel Live became the first of many live events in front of the new LED video displays at Circa Los Angeles.
The 18,000-square-foot displays, featuring a 10 mm pixel pitch, displayed live video, a custom video game and stock footage during the event. The LED displays, located across from the STAPLES Center in downtown L.A., were manufactured by Sansi and installed by YESCO. Famed Jimmy Kimmel security guard and L.A. If you tend to appreciate the intricacies of large-scale project installations, here's a little tidbit that you may find interesting. As part of the intensive display installation ongoing at Circa Towers (1200 S. Figueroa) in Los Angeles, SNA Displays was tasked with installing two steel frame structural systems. The primary system is designed to reinforce the existing building slab edge while the secondary structural system is used for attaching our LED display sections to the building. (An alternative design was engineered to combine these systems into a single frame, but the dual structural frames were ultimately chosen for a slimmer profile, limiting the display's projection off the face of the building.)Read More
For pedestrians, auto traffic, event-goers and other consumers, nothing turns heads and captures attention quite like digital signage. Dynamic and vivid LED displays prove superior at content delivery and message dissemination compared to traditional advertising tools such as printed posters, billboards and other types of static signage. But to get the most out of an LED display solution, it’s important to understand the technology as much as possible so it can be optimally deployed. One factor that should be given particular consideration is pixel pitch.Read More
